IWF Open Houses

Patriots' Day sees lots of fun activities and reenactments at both the Jones Tavern and Faulkner Homestead.  We start with a recreation of the "Robbins Ride" (continuation of Paul Revere's journey) and have activities through dusk.

Patriots Day

Following our Annual Meeting in early October we 'open the taps' in the 1732 Jones Tavern. Our own special recipes are brewed in early fall - these artisanal ales and porters are what's 'on tap.' Upstairs in the gallery the Art-Out show and sale features work in various media by local artists.

Open Tap Room

Each fall artists around town are invited to create works inspired by the landscape, history, and culture in the area encompassing Iron Work Farm's properties. Submitted artwork is displayed in conjunction with Open Tap Room, and Acton Open Studios

Art Out

You never know when Iron Work Farm will have a special event; it could be finding Hidden Treasures, remembrance of the Jones Tavern fire, farrier demonstration, a celebration of our historic loom, or one of our Theme Teas. Keep an eye out for our next 'special.'

With spring's arrival Iron Work Farm hosts our annual Egg Hunt. We nestle eggs in and among the paths through the grande allee at Faulkner Homestead. Children and their parents have a great time on the hunt!
